About Michael Harnois
Michael D. Harnois is a native of Washburn, Wisconsin, and spent thirty years wandering around Wisconsin, Indiana, Iowa, North Dakota and Minnesota before returning to the shores of Lake Superior. He served as a Lutheran pastor for sixteen years before coming to Minneapolis in 2001 to join the first class at the new University of St. Thomas School of Law.

Mr. Harnois, his wife, Stephanie, and daughter Haleigh live in Duluth’s West End with their three dogs, Joe Shadow, Bogart and Rocky. They are active members
of St Paul’s Episcopal Church, where they sing in the choir, perform with the Duluth-Superior Symphony Chorus, and are active in the Duluth-Superior Sailing Association.
